Biography
Geena Wander is a Los Angeles-based certified makeup artist. She graduated from the Master Artistry Program at Make-up Designory in Los Angeles, California.
Innately a dancer, she trained to fulfill her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Fortunately, from the start of her professional career, she had been featured in music videos for artists such as Iggy Azalea, and Chance The Rapper. She has worked closely with famous choreographer Shane Sparks, and has has performed on tour with world-renowned latin artists, Juan Gabriel and Los Bukis.
After having earned her degree in performing arts and years of experience in the dance world, she agreed to assisting her mentor as dance choreographer for the Moorpark College theater program. This was the definitive turning point in her life to expanding her creative talents. She then became infatuated with a side of production she had overlooked for years; and thus, shedding light to the finite details of the artistry and hard work put in, behind the scenes.
Always having had a profound love for makeup, Geena began assisting makeup artist and friend, Jessica Blore. A year into assisting, Geena enrolled at Make-up Designory in Burbank, California. Since graduating from MUD as a master artist, Geena's work has been featured in photoshoots, music videos, brand websites, and published in Forbes. Her specialty skills include special effects and film makeup, and is well-versed in character makeup, corrective makeup, skin-focused makeup, and bridal.
She is currently working hard in building her dreams of starting her own makeup company and online training courses.
